Jon Graham, BA (Psych), B Com, LLB, Clinical Director, Institute of Specialist Dispute Resolution.
Jon Graham provides an international perspective on services offered to families in order to build better relationships. He provides information on Family Relationship Centers (FRCs) which operate across Australia, each center with approximately four or five accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners. FRCs are intended to be easily accessible to the public, a kind of walk-in shop front for family dispute resolution services. They have a strong focus on reconciliation and family preservation both before and after separation, stating their objectives to be:
· helping families build better relationships;
· strengthening family relationships;
· helping families stay together; and
· assisting families through separation.

FRCs often have close connections with other community-based family services such as therapists, counselors, parenting and relationship programs, programs to assist children dealing with separation and specialist family violence services. As such, they are ideally placed to offer referrals tailored to the needs of their clients.
Jon Graham lives in Sydney Australia. He is accredited by the Australian Attorney General’s Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and he is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator. Jon has developed an extensive and respected practice in this field.
