Children Now has had the great pleasure of organizing its annual Summer Camps for nearly 200 underprivileged children in collaboration with the camp Domaine Scout St-Louis de France. The camps were divided into 12 groups and took place throughout the months of June, July, and August. Children from Montreal, Quebec and Trois-Rivières spent 3 days at the camp taking part in numerous fun activities. They received many useful gifts including clothing, masks, flashlights, sleeping bags, pillows, soccer balls, caps, soap, a Leadership Now book and much more.
While they were having fun in nature, the children had the opportunity to develop a sense of belonging and self-esteem as they made new friends. It was a special experience that we are convinced they will remember throughout their lifetime.
