A Magical Christmas Show for 700 Underprivileged Children

On Monday, December 16th, 2019 and on Thursday, December 19th, 2019, Children Now organized its annual Christmas Shows for a total of 700 underprivileged children from the regions of Quebec and Montreal. In Quebec, the event took place at the Hilton Hotel. In Montreal, the event was held at the Sandman Hotel Montreal-Longueuil.

The children aged between 6 and 8 years old had the opportunity to celebrate and experience the true magic of Christmas. Nothing was left to chance! The banquet was beautifully decorated by Atelier JD and Serrano. Christmas music, song and dance, animation and several arts and crafts workshops were on the agenda for the enjoyment of the children. A hot all-you-can-eat buffet and plenty of desserts filled the bellies of our young guests. Our professional animators, as well as over 60 volunteer fairies, elves and reindeer added to the magical experience of Christmas. Our many mascot friends joined in on the festivities including: Angus from Industrielle Alliance, Assurance et Services Financiers Inc., Natureuil from Clubs 4-H Du Québec, Fox Trot from Urgence Santé, Ours Prudent from La Gendarmerie Royale du Canada, Pyjamasks from Loisir Populaire, Lionel, le lion and Alpha from Créations Animation Mascottes inc, Super Sport from Devault La Source du Sport, Coquette and Pama from Children Now.

The magical moment of the day was the arrival of Santa Claus in his sleigh pulled by his nine reindeer. Santa Claus distributed the long-awaited Christmas gifts with the help of his Star Fairy and several elves. The children experienced a day unlike any other, which certainly had a positive impact on them.

We want to thank all of our loyal partners and donors who made this day possible. We are convinced that these children will keep the memory of this day with them for a very long time!
